OBD1 Integra Engine Harness plug into 97 civic coupe main harness?
I need to know if an OBD1 Integra engine harness will plug into a 97 OBD2 main harness by the shock tower?
Or would it be easier to use the stock OBD2 harness?
The car is a 97 civic coupe with an OBD1 B18 non vtec.
The wiring harness is a mess and all hacked up. I need to replace it, but just need to know which will be easier.
I will be running an OBD1 P75 ECU via jumper harness. I do not have emissions to worry about so that is not an issue.
Need help quick. Thanks.

You have to use a '96 - '98 Civic engine harness. The Integra harness is a 2 piece design like the '92 - '95 civics and '93 - '97 Del Sols. '96 - '00 civics are a one piece design that goes all the way back to the ECU. Remember to use a '96 - '98 harness as they are different than the '99 - '00 harnesses.

It needs to be re-wired with a good harness.
