Need help.......
Im rebuilding my 00 B18C5, and i need to buy new crankshaft mains. So i went into the Delray Acura website and it gave me seven choices for the top mains and ten for the bottom ones. Well, i know that it only uses 5 but what is the difference between the colors it shows and TAIHO and DAIDO in the parenthesis.....Really needs info on this....which should i order need them ASAP.
heres the link to the delray site. It is illustration #12 and 13.

Manufacturer.
Edit: oh, and the colors, different thickness of bearings, you need to plastigage/measure clearances. Are you sure you know enough about this for the job? (no offense intended)

i dont really know much bout this mechanic does though....but he just asked me to order these mains and when i saw the colors i did not know which is the one that comes stock.....so in this case what color should i go for, for the bottom and the top? I just want it back to stock mode.
Letters have been stamped on the end of the block as a code for the size of each of the 5 main journals bores. use them, and the numbers stamped on the crank (codes for main journal size), to choose the correct bearings.
yes, there are grids in the helms manual that will tell you what color bearing to buy for the block letter/crank number
Your mechanic shouldn't be rebuilding this if he is not experienced with hondas
