Default LS swap into a 4dr ej6

i talked my cousin out of buying a bike to ls swap his 98 4dr civic. looking for some info and helpful advice before starting off. the motor will come from tigerjapanese.com. its a b18b 94+. should he be looking for a obd1 or obd2 motor? possible turbo in future so she he just go obd1 anyways? thank you any advice is greatly appreciated.

OBD1. if you guys are going turbo...from what i hear OBD2 is not good for tuning.

obd 2 sucks for tuning cant chip the ecu.
switch it to obd 1 much easier for tuning,

In the name of keeping things simple get an OBD2 engine, this ensures no screwing around with alternator, distributor and injector connectors, use an OBD2A to OBD1 conversion harness and run an OBD1 ECU

she swapped in a b-series?
so he will need a 96 or newer motor. i searched but couldnt find one, is there a write up for putting a b-series motor in a obd2 civic?

x2 that's my exact setup

and when it comes to your anual rectal exam called SMOG CHECk you can swap ecu's and your set
