where do i purchase mild steel to make ram horn? need website, in the ending stages of build i have cast manifold but want to make ram horn.it's for d-series dont have the money to purchase a ram horn, all extra money went to precision sc61,thanks for your help!

Our 1-1/2" s/10 304L elbows are $5.05/ea, our 1-1/2" s/40 304L are $7.43/ea (this price has not changed since 2007), and our mild steel 1-1/2" s/40 elbows are $7.75/ea

yes, you "can". but it will be contaminated. it will have a brownish color since it will not be properly shielded.

Yes, you can weld stainless with your setup. When I fabbed my exh. the place I bought my stuff from was out of ms bends and sent me stainless instead, so I fabbed my exh out of aluminized ms and stainless and welded it with flux core wire. The welds turned out great, you just need to paint them or something to keep the weld from rusting.

Just order 12x90deg and 4x45deg and you should be fine, heres one I'v just been doing .......excuse the cheater cuts I need a new vice for the bandsaw haha and its my first one ever (waits for doughnut comment and yes that was and expensive practice weld)
