I've driven several mustangs. That's the reason I don't own one.

Steering feel sucks. Turning radius sucks. Driving experience sucks. I'm not into drag racing. But I'm sure you are.

The Ford 9'' diff is just about the strongest diff you can put hands on. So...it's got that over the S2000.

Stock or slightly modded GTs are slower than Stock or slightly modded S2000s. But...the typical mods usually will see more of a power gain in Mustangs.

You can also park your mustang outside your trailer that you live in and people at the trailer park won't make fun of you. Infact, they'll think it's "bitchin".

Basically, if you love drag racing and are missing teeth and chew tabacco...this is a good switch.

For everything else, this is a HORRIBLE idea.

Sorry but stock for stock mustang gt's are faster ( drag racing ). Im mostly into turns, but I live in America where my daily driving consists of straight lines.'

One thing id like to point out is that most people hate jap cars and make fun of them, but they think mustangs with exhaust are badass.

I owned a Sn Mustang Gt and it handled awful...Its endless body roll and heavy steering made it fell like I was driving a truck.

Edit: Also I'm 6'5 and it had no room at all and the interior was super generic.

Maybe the newer mustangs are a hair faster. But he previous generation is a 3300lb car that has 260hp vs a 2800lb car that has 240hp.

Do the math. The mustang carries around 12.7lb per hp. The S2000 carries around 11.7lb/hp.

I track my S2000. So handling matters to me.

This is pointless. You are a redneck.

That's kind of unnecessary. Mustangs never handled very well, due in part to the lack of IRS, extra weight and a suspension marketed to the average American over enthusiasts. It's easy to get a Mustang that will do a 12 second quarter mile, it will also be easier to drive in traffic and around town. However they are not exciting or very much fun, in my opinion. They were built with the "good enough" attitude off all American cars in the last 10 years (part of why the auto makers are in trouble). When I drive a car I like to know it was the best it could be, the S2000 gives that feel. The Mustang feel like a huge, RWD cruiser that they put a V8 (a pretty unimpressive one at that) in to make "sporty". If you want one and like the feel buy it. Its your call.

Also the Mustang GT is one of the ultimate douche bag cars.

I'm telling you. Your efforts are totally useless. This guy is a redneck. This is not just based on this ONE thread. If you read his other posts, you'd agree.

IQ: 12.

He doesn't even have a S2000 nor does he like them. He peeks in here every now and then to shoot off some false info and rile people up. Don't give in. If you try to make intelligent conversation, he will bring it down to his level. I guarantee you this.

ok first of all I am not a redneck im just asking a question as I will be in the markek for a new car in about 3 week. Are you sure they run only 14.8 because my all motor bolt on gsr did that with under $500 in mods.... I think you are seriously underestimating the power of mustang GTs. I know if I asked non-car people whats faster a HONDA 4 cylinder s2000 or mustang gt they would all say " hondas are slow, mustang are faster "

remember I also care what people think, since im coming from a clean fun integra GSR that everyone hates and makes fun of except fellow honda owners.
