I have a 26mm bar from the 99 SI on my 98 DX hatch. but with that, you need the Si forks and LCAs. That's a beefy setup. You won't be sorry.

Ive never heard of a case with FRONT subframe tearout. So you should be able to run whatever bar you wish.

But the question is why would you want to increase the front swaybar size? A bigger front swaybar will increase understeer!

If you still want to do it though, the biggest OE swaybar you can run on your EX LCAs is the 25mm ITR bar. You will also need the endlinks from a type r/gsr

A car on public roads should never be driven at the limit, when understeer vs oversteer behavior would apply. For a street car in an emergency maneuver, understeer is generally considered safer for a non-race trained driver.

A front bar will improve responsiveness, making the car turn in quicker. I think it is a great upgrade for a daily driver that won't see track time.

Though, my auto-x / HPDE / daily driver Integra runs a big fat Comptech rear bar...

I would agree with you if the OPs car did not have a front sway bar. He already has a 22mm front sway which will provide all the emergency responsiveness he will ever need.

And understeer/oversteer is also noticeable during regular driving (like in freeway onramps).

To get either oversteer or understeer, one end of the car must be pushed hard enough to break traction.

On a public road, this is driving recklessly, deserves a ticket, and should not be done.

Sigh, now I feel like some old fart chastising you "damn kids"...
