No spark
I just did a ZC swap into a buddies CRX. The swap went well and all. It cranks but I am not getting spark. I do not think that its the dizzy as I have tried 3 different ones all known to be good. One came off my car. I also tried the stock SI ecu and an ecu out of an 89 Integra but none did anything different. Any ideas would be helpful. I used this as a reference http://www.phatwhippincrx.20m.com/photo6.html
it is an si. new main relay and all fuses are good. the car ran before we pulled the motor and the zc ran before it was pulled. what dizzy do I need. that was the only thing that the guy kept. I have one for a 89 Integra.
do you have the Si engine harness on it? is the ground wire, coming out of the engine harness, connected at the thermostat housing? do you have any codes showing on the ECU?
the 88-89 Integra distributor is the same as the DOHC ZC

I do not know if its an hf or si engine harness and body harness. my buddy could not which harness he has. his crx was a dx sor he picked up a shell and engine harness from 2 different ppl on ebay. and he is unsure if they are from the same model.
well its all an si harness harness. I have power to the dizzy and to the coil just nothing past there. I have tried 3 different dizzys and not one works and one is off my daily and I know it works. Any ideas would be helpful.

if the car is a dx and you have an si engine harness installed then that's your problem. you would need to get a dx harness and convert it to mpfi.
i presume you are throwing some codes correct? and i'd be willing to bet, if the above is true, that you have a code 4 and 9 for the crankshaft position and cylinder position sensors respectively. the dpfi cabin harness is guiding the CYP wires to the CKP sensor, and the CKP input at the ecu is going nowhere.
