i have the GC sleeves on my now stock ej6 suspension. the shocks are pretty much blown. my spring rates are 450lbs front and 600lbs in the back. i wanted some shocks that will last perform for auto-x yet last me a couple of years at least! I was leaning towards the tokico illums, or the kyb agx shocks. also since my sleeves are for stock a stock shock are stock replacements the only ones that will work like the 2 shocks i staed above or can konis work with my sleeves???

 

I think konis only work with the gc 'specified' sleeve. And for that particular sleeve it will not work with any other shock, correct me if i'm wrong.

 

Your sleeves can work with Tokico Illuminas, but I would not expect them to stand up to 600 lb. springs. They might last a couple of seasons, though.

 

i need to find somebody that would want to trade springs for some lower rated springs i would just rather replace my blown shocks first
