So I was buying some Royal Purple and the Pepboys stopped caring my K&M Oil filter that I used to buy there so I got the Royal Purple Extended Life Oil filter.
Anyone know if they are any good? Or is K&M still a better choice?

 

Royal Purple is a VERY good brand. Thats why they are so expensive

 

I know, I'm asking about the oil filter. Both Royal and K&M filters are the same price, but is one significantly better than the other?

 

IMO, a filter is a filter. I only say that because when you change the oil, you change the filter. I really dont care which filter, but again thats just me.

 

I don't know how much RP filters are, but typically, I'd pick up a 5 or 10 pack of HAMP oil filters online and call it a day.

 

So it doesn't really mater what oil filter you get as long as its not a cheap one?
