1000 cc injectors big enough
looking for injectors and like the looks of the image dynamics but they only come as big as 1000. will they be big enough if im looking at the 340 whp range??
My set up is as follows
sleeved h22 stroked to a 2.7l
bore89.5 mm
15.0 to 1 comp
port flow head
custom grind crane rollers
60 mm kinsler itbs

Your best bet is running the ID1000's at high fuel pressure. You can get up to 1525cc/min out of them and the increased pressure will improve atomization even further.
You have to fuel crank horsepower, so lets say there's 18% dt loss. 340 x 1.18 = 401.20 crank horsepower
N/A Methanol:
400 x 1.1 = 440 / 4 = 110.0 + 15% = 126.5 lb/hr @ 45 psi @ 85% duty (1331 cc/min per cylinder)
N/A Gas:
400 x .48 = 192 / 4 = 48 + 15% = 55.2 lb/hr @ 45 psi @ 85% duty (581 cc/min per cylinder)
N/A Methanol:

Ken, We use them on my car as well as the 2.5L K, Duty cycle is insanely low.
The 1000s will be perfectly fine.
Whats going to benefit you is the massive fuel pump you already have, that will be killer with the IDs. . . You wil llike them a lot . .

Hey Ken how is the beast coming along? Plan on making any runs at the Chi this summer?

may will be pushing it but we will see, probally in june for the first quick 8 race. might tey to go to tronoto the end of may for the cscs event
