Default Slightly used Fluidyne for $275...worth the money or no?

My friend is selling his integra and he put a Fluidyne on it just under 3k miles ago. He said he'd sell it to me for $275. I am going to be auto-x and circut racing mostly, I'm just looking for opinions from owners who currently have one to see if the change is worth it. I believe its the 38mm Fluidyne if that helps...

Thanks,
Marshall

is your car having overheating issues? IMO, don't get something that you don't need.

I was thinking about buying a Fluidyne but decided to go with all water cooling first to see if I noticed a change. I did notice better response in the 110 Arizona heat, but definately nothing huge.

IMO the Fluidyne radiator for daily driving is a waste. For the track probably helpful, but again I don't think it is needed on a stock R.

If your car has some mods in it, $275 is a good deal. They run about $350 new. I have one in my gsr and I noticed a difference in the cooling. Especially when on the highway. My engine temp bairly goes over 175 degrees according to my auto meter temp guage. You cannot run an a/c fan with the radiator, unless youn use a slim one.

I have seen some race prepped ITRs with stock radiator. It works just fine.
For the track you only need an engine oil cooler......

be careful with all water setups...if you are going to use all water..

make sure and use distilled water to keep ther minerals out of the system..

and you need some type of fluid to keep the water from turning into electrolyte..

water wetter and purple ice are both worth while..even those rec. just a little coolant to keep things kosher for street cars
