why would this make me a "stunna"??
just change your user name to HT STuNnA and everything will be ok.
I appologize for their hostility. As you will learn, the guys on this board are more in to keeping things real, simple, and clean. We do not concider a harsh tail light conversion to be a respectable modification, there fore we cannot give you an accredited estimate of what it would cost. What some people on this board forget to do is read your post. Your post asked a question reguarding the price of a tail light conversion, not if we liked the idea. Once gain I am sorry for the harsh treatment of a newbie. Good luck in the future. I would recommend maybe reading our posts and getting to know the guys before bloating out a slain question. Thanks, and again, sorry.
How Much Would A S2000 Tail Light Conversion Cost Me On My 94 Hatch??
But, it'd cost WAY too much to be worth doing over a performance mod. Besides the financial costs, there's that whole dignity thing that I won't bother to get into.
price = s2k tails + weld-in light buckets + wiring harness + one-off sheetmetal modification + repainting
it'll look...uh...cool? but it'll end up costing you between $800 and $1200 dollars minimum. why don't you leave your tails alone and get i/h/e for your ride, or, if you're already there, go for an MSD6 ignition, radiator upgrade, suspension **** or start saving for a swap/turbo/anything but a tail light conversion.
edit: it probably would have been better to call your local performance shop(s) and save your dignity than post this on honda-tech. regardless of what we say, they're gunna charge you what they charge you and you'll have to live with it

I have seen this conversion on a 92 hatch ( I think) and I will say this much . IT DON"T LOOK GOOD , DOESN'T HAVE ANY APPEAL WHAT SO EVER . You change your tails out get some altezzas (snickering) but don't be hacking and slashing your car just to put another cars tails in it . Use the money for Performance or atleast parts that are MENT for your model and year car
your on the wrong msg board my friend

It seems as though too many people make uneducated purchasing decisions based on the "norm" of what others do.
I would think that an ignitoon upgrade would be one of the LAST things you'd need.
Cams, more fuel, then try an ignition.
