Default braking question

I got rid of my Type R which had awesome brakes so it was never an issue, now I have a 92 civic Si hatch with my set up in it. My question is what is the limit of the 92-95 Si brakes? How fast can you go safely on those stock sized brakes without having issues stopping at the end of the track?

do the 92's have "integra" sized brakes, or are they the 9", if they have the smaller caliper/rotor just upgrade to integra ls/gsr brakes and you should be fine in that light of a shell

just look at the caliper, if they look like these (with the bracket coming down around the front of the caliper, then they are integra size, if not they are civic 9" brakes

if you plan on goin fast anyway you will need gsr or ls calipers in the front for dss axles. stock si rear discs are fine.

nah I never had an issue with stocks so I am goin to see how they hold up this year. The turbo will max at 575whp or so. I should go no faster than low 10's in the high 130's. the motor I have in this car is the same one from my integra. The Teg was way heavier so I was just worried about the pick up in trap speed. For reference the integra weighed almost 3000lbs(full everything+cage and turbo set up)

I was thinking maybe something like this since I need front pads and rotors anyway. What do you guys think: http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku

92 SI's come with the same front brakes as the dx/cx... The later year SI's come with the bigger fronts. I was trapping 127 earlier this year and it was kinda of sketchy slowing down. I run Powerslot rotors (from my ricer days, but have lasted great) and random pads. I would defenitly swap the fronts for integras or later year EX/SI brakes.

The summit stuff looks ok, but I would just run some Brembo blanks with some EBC pads.

The 95's would be the bigger base integra / ek / eg ex/si. as seen in the pic above. They would be a decent upgrade. I've never done that particually swap, you might have to swap Knuckles... does the ex have ABS?
