Default Need help to decide what stage 1 cams for DD/street b18c1

I need help on choosing which cams is best for my DD Integra. I want the best bang for the buck, reliability, smog-able since it's a DD and for the cheapest. This is going on a b18c1 long block with ITR RS machine pistons, stock p72 head with ITR valvetrain and not going anything bigger or over stock rev(8.5k).

blox type a
s2s2 stage 1
Itr/Ctr
any other stage 1's..etc

Thanks in advance for everyone.

blox a will be your best bang for the buck. You can get them on here from a few users for like $300 shipped... Plus they will work with your ITR valvetrain.

Personally, I'd go with a Skunk2 Tuner 1 or equivalent. They're CARB legal, and would work ok with your ITR valvetrain.

Are BLOX As a S2 Tuner1 copy? I have no clue.

Here's what random people have offer to sell to me:

280 used skunk2 stage 2 w/gears(Slap these in and keep the gsr for smog?)

420 obo new blox Tuner A

200 used ITR

200 brand new ITR valve springs and retainer(Is this a good deal?)

I prefer ctr/itr or skunk2 stage 1 and I think stage 2's are a little big for my setup(11.1ish cc, stock head with ITR RS pistons)

Man that's some nice #'s. How much did you spend? I wanna see you set up. This will be a budget build, just ITR internals with 3 angle valve, refresh top and bottom.

I like the BC3s for a moderately built daily driver. They have a really nice mid-range (which is where you are most of the time) without giving up too much on the top end.

[QUOTE=Rollo Lawson;38328918]BC3+ hands down[/QUOTE

sounds good but how much would I be paying over itr/ctr? Plus, I would have to go better than itr valvetrain if I were to go bigger like bc3+ right?

buddy club 3s are fine for ITR valvetrain, the specs, when you compared lift wise isnt a whole lot different. You usually can find a set on here for a good price

i think you might be able to broaden your horizons with stage 2 cams. 11+ compression on a 1.8 would work just fine. just be careful with the skunk2 pro series cams. they are a bit aggressive.
