Car is is 1990 integra. like the titles says i have this problem thats really got me scratching my head. i went to start my car and it died right away i went to start it again and it barely wanted to start would run really low then die. went out check my connections they were good, waited about 5 mins and it started right back up only my tach,fuel and temp gauge stopped working. then i realized my seatbelt didnt work either neither did my clock, unless i pressed in the button. when i put my car to acc only my battery light comes on my check enine, or oil or any other light on my cluster dont come on. all fuses are good. battery has 12.45 volts

 

Sounds like a short! Maybe a wire was lose somewhere, and grounded out! Check all your relays as well...Open your ecu, and smell and check for burn marks or melted parts.

 

all the wires look good. but did a charging system test at work and it said to replace the battery cca was 296. but i wouldnt think that causes my cluster to not work

 

i'm kinda having the same problem... but mine the only thing that isn't working is the speedometer and rpm light everything else works fine...i took the cluster out and saw some of the soldering on the circuit board were burnt...it's been running fine until i tried to change out the bulb....im still stuck on whats going on with it

 

bump for some help. iono what it could be.wheb i put it to key on engine off only my battery light goes it and i could see it flash after a second so i kno it did the startup test but nothing else comes on. anyone kno what relay i should check out

 

are u sure its not a fuse? mines was like that on my integra..my whole cluster didnt work except thelights..and the clock didnt work...and it ended up being a fuse..which i did check all the fuses at first and didnt find a bad one..so i was stuck like that like 7 months guessing where my gas and everything was at...mines ended up being the back up light fuse..its like a 10 or 15 forgot..
