Anyone know a single stage paint that will match the vsm silver? My buddy is goin to spray my trim for me and he said it would be better if I could find one.

 

Any company will have it, its just a matter of mixing the different colors to make it.

 

if youre just doing trim, any autobody supply store can mix up some oem paint and put it in a spray can for you. they should also have OK quality clear coat in a aerosol can as well.

 

i mean a single stage paint that you spray with a gun and dosnt require a clear coat, the clear is mixed in with it, my buddy works in a auto body shop and says if i can get a single stage paint it will be thicked and resist chipping better sense its my front lip

 

Single stage is not better quality than BC/CC as far as getting chipped... nothing is better than oem paint from factory but its all in the prep work if its done right the paint shouldnt chip as bad. and also the single stage wont have a shine like BC/CC

 

im not worried about the prep work, he knows what he doin hes painted alot of stuff

 

I agree, 90 percent of problems come from poor adhesion(poor prep work). Like he said above go for the BC/CC it will look better and last longer.
