Default Broken Knock Sensor: Emissions

Whats going on all?

I recently noticed that my knock sensor was broken and I need to find another one. I am running an lsvtec so I do not need the sensor for obd1 but I do have to test under obd2 compliancy.

I was wondering if anyone local or distant could loan me a knock sensor for a few days to pass emissions and I can send it back. I am willing to pay for shiping and some cash for letting me use it.

Any thoughts and or ideas?

Brian

Might be easier and cheaper to check your local junkyards.

Knock sensors can be pretty pricey. I would post a thread in your local classifieds and see if anyone has one you could buy or borrow.

Well a new OEM one is 133 shipped while one from Autozone is 108..Is it worth spending the extra money on the OEM?
