hey guys i just recently cleaned my iac and fitv on my b20 swapped ek. the car will idle at about 1000 rpm but once you step on the gas to like 3000 rpm it will drop and hold at 2000rpm. the only was i can get it to come down back to 1000rpm is to pull on the gas pedal towards me. any ideas what could be doing that?

any help would be greatly appreciated.

the cable is stuck obviously, try cleaning the throttle cable. go to the engine bay and you will see the thing the cable goes to(cant think of the name of it), make sure it moves freely.

if its not that then it might be that the throttle plate spring(were the throttle cable attaches to the throttle body) might need some grease

just cleaned and greased both parts and still having the same problem. any other suggestions?

did you adjust the throttle screw? or have you checked were the gas pedal is under the dash becasue it might get stuck sometimes with all the dirt that gets in there. and have you put any aftermarket pedals on it becasue it might be to heavy for the pedal spring to move back.
