Default Fluidyne radiator...is it worth it?

My friend is selling his slightly used (less than 2k miles) Fluidyne for $275. I am thinking about it, but would I really need it? I am aiming for circut/auto-x use, if that helps. And if anybody who has a Fluidyne can comment on how they like theirs (or dislike) that would help me out a lot as well.

No need until you have overheating issues....

Does it save a couple of pounds vs stock? If you pass on it, I'm interested.

Any weight you saved is probably more than offset by the gain in water/coolant.

keeping the motor cool is very important. Im running the fluidyne in my ITR and I noticed a difference in the temp gauge. Maybe I was running hot before or something but its definitely cooler now.
