high pitched engin noise from 08 i4
so whenever i rev the engine on my 8th gen i4 accord is sounds almost like i have a turbo in the car with a high pitch whistle that i can hear whenever i don't have the clutch engaged,
i don't think theirs any problem as its done this since the day i picked up the car, just annoying.
i have a Fujita RAI that helped for when I'm actually driving the car but when I'm stopped or downshifting the whirl noise comes back...
does anyone know if there is a way to stop the high pitched whistling?
Thank you

Did you installed teh SRI? If yes, was teh noise there before you installed it? If no, then check your work. Maybe a more detailed description of what it is can better help us help you. Where teh noise is coming from etc, etc...
so i went to my dads shop today and talked to one of the techs there, he said that it was the alternator that's making the noise. not to sure if theirs anything to do to stop it, ill keep you guys posted if i figure something out if your interested...

As a matter of fact I notice that this sand rustling like sound comes from under my glove box when my rpm hits anywhere from 5 to 7.....kinda weird, anyone else notice that?
Motor's with timing chains produce a "whine" type noise that most people aren't used to hearing. And its completely normal.
However, like dtapia said, noises are difficult to diagnosis without actually hearing them.

the noise you might be hearing could be the coolant flowing though the heater core. i believe there a s/b on it some where. i no the fit have one where you gotta blead out the coolant system using the yellow or red radiator funnel
