Default Uneven rotor wear(new caliper not working properly)

I installed a new caliper on the passenger front, and put new pads in the front(Both sides),rotors and also re-bled the whole system. Bedded the new pads properly, however the new caliper doesnt seem to be working properly. It should be sweeping across the whole rotor face, but its only grabbing in about 0.5 inch worth of space on the rotor.... so instead of wear on the whole rotor surface you see a groove about 0.5 inch wide in the middle of the surface... like its only touching in that small area.

any ideas why this could happen... brand new rotors, pads and caliper on that one side. Should I rebleed and see(sorry my question mark isnt working) Or is the new caliper fubard...

everything was properly greased etc.

sounds like a defevtice part to me. take the pads and rotors off and mic them. it shouldnt be the caliper if its wearing on the middle but not the two sides.

if it is something defective make sure the place you got them from replaces the pads and buys you new rotors.

if its wearing only in the middle its mostlikly either the rotor or the pad cause the piston isnt gonna only push the "middle" of the pad in if its cockeyed its gonna push the top or the bottom or side to side in

UPDATE: ive never had issues with remanuf calipers...

and turns out its still fine. It was the little metal piece that the pad sits on in the bracket.

for whatever reason , the bottom one was sticking out just a bit to far, contacting the rotor. I bent it a little bit so there was some clearance ..greased everything up again(That needed to ) and put it all back togehter. all is fine.

so in the end everything was functioning fine.
