I shut my door in my Ek today, and the door sriker fell off the car chasis. Well when I went to screw it back in, there is nothing there to screw it to, just holes. I looked on estore.honda for the part, but there is none, I took the whole inside of the car apart to rig up some washers to put inside there, but, found out that you can't even get to that part, there is sheet metal surrounding it. Is there something I am, missing? Please help, car can't shut now, I have the striker zip tied to the chasis. HELP!!! Thanks.

 

your gonna have to cut the metal open. that sucks for you

take it to a body and have them look at it.

 

ive seen it before and it sucks, your gonna have to cut, weld, grind, bondo, sand, and paint if you want it to look factory again. if you just want it to work all you have to do is cut and weld.

my dad just showed me a pic of when it happend to his friend and its not pretty.
and could be quiet expensive to do the right way.
