Default d16y7 in ef four door

im bout to buy a 4 dour. dude sellin it says he swapped it wit a y7. he says theres 4 wires he does not kno where to connect inside onto the ecu. does anybody kno anything about this. 4 wires that do not have connect to the ecu when swapping in an obd2 motor.

i really can't help you out but i'll throw you some ideas. it could be one of the following or mismatched: o2 sensor ( 4wire ) or the injectors.



but if you're new to the obdX conversion, in my opinion, don't bother with it.
you're way better off buying another car and build it for yourself. good luck though

yea. im pretty sure it's the injectors. n i wud. but the car is for cheap.

You are going to have to get a meter to do continuity tests to trace out where those wires go.

What ECU do you have in there?
It's very common to run an OBD2 motor as OBD1 and I'm hoping that's what you have going on in there.
