how hard is it to install this camber kit?
ok i got these from a friend...the thing is the nut at the top of the bolts wont screw down all the way, the way they are in the picture is as far as they come down....so idk why that is...also i just bought BRAND new tires and i dont want my camber to mess up my new tires
It appears to be the Ingalls kit... or a knock off of it.

dont waste your time with that kit trust me its garbage. if you want a real camber kit, get the Upper Control Arm type. but really all you need is an alignment to get your toe set in spec. camber doesnt kill tires, improper toe does.
So true I installed a set of those w/o adjusting toe and killed my tires really quick.
Might as well put them on since you have the kit already. Do get an alignment after the install (you need the alignment even if you don't install them).
Nothing wrong with setting your your camber correctly for your driving conditions to increase your contact patch. I wore through front tires with bad camber and proper toe adjustment - contact patch is really small when you dump the car. Some people apparently do well with just a toe alignment, but if you drive agressively then the wear really shows on the inner wall instead of evenly across the tread. Less tire contacting the road = less traction = increased and concentrated wear.
Definitely not as much of an issue with the rear tires.

i have a set of the upper control arm style on both my ef and da, and i done have any complaints fro, them, but if its free, id use them. you can find knock off skunk2 uca's for about 50 a set. i am running these on my teg cause i got hit hard enough to bend my frame, and i dont have the funds or time to get that fully corrected now

i use to have those long 3-4 yeas ago. they are hard to screw in. you have to use impact gun or get a bar that is hollow and put it at the end of the ratchet. if you use an impact gun don't over tight the bottom bolt because the screw will start spining. the bottom screw is just pressed in the hole and if too much pressure from the impact it will destroy the hole that the screw is in and the srew will spin.
Hope that helps.
that type of camber kit sucks salty ball sacks...i have a set on my ef and i had to modify the **** out of them with a grinder because they wouldn't fit on my stock control arms and the rings they sent me didn't fit the hole to mount them to the frame...i also had a set on my old cb7 and one of the screws broke off the control arm and i had to mickey mouse another bolt to fit...they are a pain in the *** to adjust and the only reason i still have them on is because i paid $50 for them myself and dont want to get another alignment until i order my new suspension
