Ok, here is my problem, hopefully you guys can help me out.

It's '97 JDM B18C, motor put in about 7 months ago, last time i disconnected the battery was in Jan, about at least 3000 miles. Last week i brought it in for inspection : visual/ functional inspection PASS, CEL is on like normal (turn on the key at II, it's on for 3 seconds then off, not ON when motor starting).
On the OBDII, it's fail!, doesn't throw out a code why it's fail cuz CEL is not ON, The guy told me to drive another 60-75 miles then come back, since then i put in 500 miles in 1 week, including 62 miles this morning before brought the car back in the shop. And guess what, it's stil NOT READY FOR TESTING!!!

Does anyone had this problem? Or what do you think possibly the problem is?

Wait, so because the CEL "didn't" come on you failed the e-check? That doesn't make sense.

 

i know right, because the CEL "didn't" come on so they couldn't figure out the reason. They told me to drive another couple days and bring it back, if it's still NOT READY FOR TESTING, they will call hotline and talk to them but meanwhile, i'm wondering if anyone had this problem before so give me head up.

 

Stock ECU? Any wiring work done? First thing to check is ALL your fuses. Can you get some one with a scan tool to check your readiness monitors?

Have you tried a diff place for the e-check? Do you think maybe you can get away with another spot doing the testing?
