Default oil pump

i have a 94 gsr and i am rebuilding the motor. i bougt a kit and it came with a 96-00 oil pump. i am wondering whats the difference between the two and will it fit on my 94?

It will fit but you have to trim the lower timing belt cover I believe.

All 96-01 Integras from the LS to the ITR use the same oil pump, but it is a bit different than the 94-95 because it was for an OBD2 engine, which included a crank fluctuation sensor, which is the reason you have to trim the lower timing belt cover.

96 and newer also has a hole to thread a bolt to mount the crankshaft position sensor.
