Default Injen Replacement Filter

I was going to buy a replacement air filter for my Injen CAI but didn't know which size to get for my 06' type S. Anyone know off hand what size I need to get?

Buy the K&N Filter Cleaning Kit. I think you can buy this product from Pepboys, Autozone, etc.

Aight, well i got a K&N recharger kit. It comes with the air filter cleaner as well as air filter oil. It says that it is a 6-step process on the box. Do I also use the air filter oil? Or did i buy the wrong thing?

My girlfriends brother told me that I could use a strong cleaner and a hose to clean the filter. He said to spray the cleaner on the inside and outside of the filter, then spray the hose inside the filter so the water comes through the outside. He and I were not sure however if the brand specific Injen filter was able to be cleaned this way so I just took your guys advice and bought the K&N kit.

If anyone has any advice let me know, I appreciate the help.

if you're gonna use a hose, dont spray. just take the nozzle off and run water, ive seen people rip their filters by spraying them down.

I use simple green for my filters. I fill a bucket up with it and water and dunk my filter in there a few times, spin it around a little bit. I empty the bucket, and do it again because im OCD. then i rinse it by filling the bucket with just water. If it tickles your fancy you can run water from the inside out. Be sure to let it dry in the sun, dont force it to dry with a hair dryer or something, ive seen filters warp holes around the material on the edges = bad.

anyway, yeah that method works fine for me.

the recharge kit is reallll simple after washing it out, shake the water still in it out and put it on a clothes line or something to let it dry out, easiest way of letting it dry before putting the oil on
