Re: Air Filter (...civic...)
with a K&N you dont buy a new one, you "recharge it" go to the auto part store and ask for a K&N recharge kit, i think they are about 15-20 bux, and it basically makes the filter brand new again

take the filter out and put it into the sun..if you can see through it..its still good...if not you might want to get a new one....i know k&n came out with a new filter that you never have to replace again

Re: (usdmEFboy)
I read somewhere, that while K&N filters have better flow.. they only have better because of the holes in the filter. which let in more dirt than stock.

Re: Air Filter (...civic...)
I have a dc sports air filter on my b16 and have never looked back, as this is a strong filter i take the filter off and use an air line to clear it out. But dont do this to your k n n or it will probably fall apart!
