Default how much quarts?

how many quarts off gear oil supposed to be in one h22 or any honda trans?

Most take about 2.2 qt's of 10w30 or Honda Manual transmission fluid.

That's assuming your talking about a manual tranny.

Just fill it until it starts to drain out of the fill hole.

mine is supposed to take 2.2 in my b series transmission, usually right before 2 quarts it tops off, probably some trapped inside already, i use ONLY honda manual transmission fluid, i have had gm synchromesh, but i like the feel of the honda fluid better, maybe it has a different viscosity because it feels like the transmission is smoother.

alright thanks, im going to use pennzoil syncromesh they said same thing with the gm's one just the pice is way different..

I use to use 10w-30 for the first 216,000 miles. No problem.
