noob swap question
Its going to run like ish. You will have no vtec and fuel maps will be off. The ls will be faster than the motor you are swapping in if you did that. Just get the right ecu man do it right.
Wait your trying to swap a JDM ITR with JDM ITR P73 ecu...that's fine, but you will more then likely fail emissions depends on what state you are from, you will need to add a few wires knock, vtec sol. vtec pressure. If you are trying to just swap in without the needed wires, your vtec will not engage. If you do the wiring but use a P75 LS Ecu there will be no vtec. Look for write ups on how to do your swap.

umm.... the same swap that fits integra's, fit the civic too. its the same motor. have you tried looking online? the b18 a/b/c come out of integra's. different trim levels, obviously, but all are from integra's. it just so happens that they fit civics too. look around a bit in the marketplace. you can sometimes find a gsr for around 1500 or so, give or take. the itr is a good choice, but for the amount of extra money it costs to buy, a gsr with bolt ons would be a better decision, but thats just my 2 cents.
Well using the wrong ecu could result in a very poor air:fuel ratio and the gas burning to hot and damaging the engine. not very likely but possible. really just get the right ecu or get an AEM EMS aftermarket ecu to replace the stock one.
