Before i get raped ive been searching for weeks through the forums and only have half of what i need as far as info i need a full parts list and more in depth swap info as to power steering and wiring the swap. and im looking to stay obd2.

 

are u adding or subtracting power steering... i just did this swap and added power steering a few weeks ago. PM me with your questions.

 

you need 99-00 si t bracket
you p/s will need to be changed to a 99-00 si one of the hi pressure line modded to fit
the gsr or si pump.
your harness is very similar to the si one, you got vtec already,
some connectors are diff or not used on the B
get another intake make your choice so you can lose the butter fly system and not have to worry about wiring them for the older models, newer ones use vacumm.
you need b axles gsr or si will work.
you might have to fix the iac connector if you have a three wire one, the b uses 2 wires.
i put a gsr in my si so my swap was a lil more str8 forward then yours but you need to do a few extra things i did not thats all

 

I just did this swap into my 96 and i took power steering out. For one you cant use a B18C power steering pump with the civic lines you will need a B16A pump. If you are staying OBD2 then you shouldnt have to change any wires unless your putting the motor into a non vtec car? we need more info to help you out.

 

oops my babd i didnt realize you said it was going into an EX... so the wiring should be pretty basic but follow what rob just said

 

Can i use me stock radiator hoses and also i thought i had to add or extend a couple wires for this to work

 

i didnt have to extend any on my swap.. as far as radiator hoses i dont know.. I upgraded my radiator at the time. and i went with the S2 intake manifold due to the single butterfly and also way better than the stock snail shell.

 

What year is your car is it obd2 if so imma make sure i get a obd2 motor and also imma get the skunk 2 intake manifold

 

it is 96 civic coupe with 96 JDM B18C OBD1 P72. when i put the S2Mani on i could feel a huge diff in top end bro

The civic radiator hoses are too small. Is it USDM or JDM? The IACV plug will need to be changed, I'm pretty sure you will have to add a knock sensor as well. I don't think the EX has them either. I had to in my DX. You will need to get an Si driver side engine bracket as well as the T bracket.

Thats right you do have to change the IACV plug to a 2 wire and also add a knock sensor

 

imma get new mounts and i cant remember if i have a knock sensor but the main thing im worried about is the wiring oh and i dont have the motor yet im trying to get the parts together first

 

Are you going with USDM or a JDM motor?

 

Im going to order a jdm motor from hmotor does the tranny mount come with new mounts from innovative or hasport
