I have a 94 civic the motor is goin bad it has a d16 5 speed just wondering what swap would be the easiest and gain more hp but not hurt the wallet to bad basically budget build

Get a JDM D15B. It's 130hp. Other than that, a d16 vtec is the way to go for a low budget. Next is the B16 series and after that is the B18 series. Pick based on your budget. Also, check out the frequently asked, engine swap section and go from there.

 

Grab a b18b1/a1
head to the junkyard to see if you can find a 94 or a 95 integra, everything bolts right into place.
