I'm doing a tranny swap with a tranny that has been sitting for 3 years... it rotates freely the release bearing seems fine. But any idea on what seals or anything else I should replace before the swap? Thanks in advance

 

Does the input shaft have any play to it. If so change the bearing

 

rear main seal also, its requires removing the tranny which yur doin anyways

 

just to be safe take it to a shop and have them open it up!

 

just put axle seals in it and put it in.... theres nothing else easily serviceable if you have never taken apart a tranny. id suggest using new honda mtf though.... stuff is like liquid gold its great.

 

stick a screw driver through the hole that the holds the linkagage to the trans, shift the tranny make sure its moves freely with no sticking or jamming if it does you might have to crack her open
