I was bored one day and decided to take my valve cover off and paint it, well when i put it back on and started my car it started to make a wierd clicking noise under the hood. I cant figure out what it could be because all i did was take the valve cover off and put it back on. Has this ever happened to anyone? Btw the car is an 05 rsx type s

 

Maybe a loose plastic cover or something.

 

i took all the plastic covers off when i first got the car

 

Did you re-use the same gasket?
Make sure everything is tightened down, and hope you didn't drop something down in there while the valve cover was off.
