97 GSR. Starter Problems, searched & found nothing
Hey HT
I searched and got nothing to why my starter doesnt start my car every time.
Wen i hit clutch pedal and try to start my car, the starter cliks butt doesnt even crank the engine. So i gett out of the car, give it a push in neutral till its roling at like 3-5mph, press clutch pedal in, putt it in 1st gear, drop clutch, the press it again to start it... then i hitt the starter and it start perfectly......Can somebody tell me whats up. This has been hapening more and more frequently. Like 1 month ago, it would happen about once a week. Now it happens everytime i start the car or about 75% of the time i start it. Could it be that the starter drive isnt going into the flywhel or the starter is missalighned somehow.
Or i have to go gett the starter tested. I tink im better of getting a rebuilt one from NAPA or Cragen..?
