Default Newbie Stereo Help

Hey guys, I wanted to get a new head unit replace all 4 of my stock speakers, and wanna get a sub later on. But my problem is, i have no idea what watts and OHMs and all that kinda **** is and how it pertains to my stereo. And therefore have no idea what amps are the best and what H/U i should get. So, could someone give me a link to a good site that'll xplain that stuff to me, or does someone care to write a 5 page essay? lol. thanks.

check crutchfield.com...you can look for h/u, speakers, amps and everything, plus they have a glossary that's really helpful...but IMO, i wouldn't buy from them, way too overpriced...but it's a great site to "window shop" and find out what you want... I would find out, what i liked, and then find it eBay for a lot cheaper through people selling wholesale
