2001 integra GS 5 speed

Hey guys so i read some of the idling issues on here and seems like a common issue, for me my problems may be more than one thing, so here goes.

COLD starts are fine, always starts when cold but the idle goes up and down a little from 2000-1500 and eventually it goes to normal.

When im driving and stop sometimes the idle drops down to 550 and goes back up to 700ish(normal)

Heres the messed up thing, If i have a SEMI warm engine(driving around for just a lil that the engine temp is in the middle of normal operating and cold, and turn off the motor) usually filling up gas. When i turn on the motor it cranks but i have to keep gassing it or it just dies.
STRONG SMELL OF GAS

but also sometimes when operating temp is hot i can't start it either.

Im getting headaches, I thought honda's were reliable -_-

when it wont start, u need to determine what u dont have. fuel, spark, etc. This will Probably help u the most.

1.fuel leak
2.bad or dirty iacv or bad fitv and something else
3.coolant bubble and something else
4.cracked egr canister?
5. vacuum leak

probably the fit valve is going bad, check for vaccum at the throttle body, take the tube off and look at the throttle plate, there is 2 whole one on top and one on bottom, put ur finger over the one on bottom and u should feel vaccum when its cold, as for the gas thing you probably have a stuck purge valve which causes a flood out only when getting gas

 

Check the rubber grommets that hold the injector in place, this go bad ie when hot, and start leaking fuel...This is why you smell the gas, and car doesnt want to turn on, because of fuel pressure being lost.
