Please clear up s2k brakes on an itr
Ok, i found a couple of threads on this but they always seem to stray off very quickly turning into spoon monoblock calipers. I just got a 5 lug swap for my gsr but it was missing calipers. Itr calipers are expensive as hell and hard to come by and i have a set of 03 s2k calipers i can buy for cheap.
my question is, will i use 11.1" rotor or 11.8" rotor with 03 s2k calipers? any caliper bracket milling required? and will i be using the L caliper on the Right side and vise versa with the bleeder nipples upside down? also if the answer is 11.8" will this fit under a factory usdm type r 15" wheels?

They will not clear usdm itr wheels, I'm not sure about other wheels but I'm pretty sure you will need to run at least 16" wheels. I know that my Mugen calipers which are modified s2k calipers won't clear the stock rims. I'm not sure if all s2k calipers are the same but mine use 11.8" rotors
S2K front brakes on a ITR? Interesting....anyone with more solid info on this subject matter? I assume you will use the stock S2K front rotors are well?!
thats pretty much becoming a big new thing. s2k brakes on integras. theres a guy name brakeexpert taht does those swaps. i almost purchases the 911 porsche setup for my teg off of him

S2k setup wont work on an itr. I just put spoon ap1/dc5 calipers on my itr and i had hell finding out what worked and what didnt. You are right in that itr's are 11.1 and s2k 11.8 but the itr hub its one of a kind... way bigger than the standard honda 5 lug hubs. The holes line up but the rotor doesent fit over the hub. You'll have to take it to a machine shop to have them grinded down. I might have a set of itr calipers and brackets laying around. $150 picked up.
or..
You can buy 97+ crv spindles but they are going to be 36mm like the jdm itrs, but you can use 02+ rsx base model hubs which are 32mm and also is the standard honda 5 lug setup. Now you can buy those ap1 calipers and brackets, along with rsx type s rotors (11.8) and use the bigger brakes.
Hope this info helps. User name BrakeExpert was kind enough to pass on to me but he's no longer on this site.

haha mugen brakes are the same as the s2k. honda i guess made the hub on the s2k purposely smaller so that jdm itr cant have a direct bolt on hence they will have to buy mad expensive rotors for it to work lol. Well I hope this helps out anyone that want to do the swap. I wish I had the funds to do it already and will probally do a write up if I do to help ya out. Have other priority for the car right now so the jdm ep3 ctr stuff is just chilling.
