Going to attempt my Action clutch install this wknd, any tips?
Have a friend to help you, make sure you have the clutch align tool, it helps alot (I didn't have one and it added a good hour to my install).
I was told by my mechanic of 11years of experience working on acuras NOT to resurface honda flywheels, when you resurface them they have a tendency to wobble, which could effect the clutch brake in. He does many aftermarket clutches so he has experience. Just my .02 cents.
take your time
make a flat small wood on a small jack to lower your tranmission, or have a friend to help u to lower it.. but i think the jack helped alot
remember to use a jack or XXX (forgot that word) to hold your engine when u remove
remember to take off ur - and +, i forgot to
scared the hell out of me when i took that ground screw off on the tranny LOL
new bearings
tranny oil
that's all.. good luck taking off your axle nuts
good luck ! let us now how it goes
i am doing itnext week AGAIN..

And JUMP on the breaker bar! I got away with a 1/2" drive but I suppose they could break, those bastards are on there tight!

lol, my axle nut took several days of pb blast and broken wrenches (including a snap-on breaker-bar). but my car was sittin for a while....good luck
i had 3 jacks for when i dropped my tranny, one under tranny w/ wood block, one under engine, and a hoise on top of engine. It sucked, and make sure you get ALL of the annoying starter bolts. They're in the damndest places.
Becareful separating your ball joints from the control arm. If you dont have a tool to get them out, put the caslte nut on backwards and start hammering until it comes loose. Also remember to get your axle nuts super tight when you get them back on. And watch the hydralic line for the throwout bearing-arm. Move it out of the way as far as possible. I bent the **** out of mine.
B20LS-T is correct. I have also been told this by honda tech of 15 years.
