just wondering how much some people pay for paint and body work ???

 

Depends on the car and how the body is. What kind of body mods you want, and the type of paint and the color you plan on having sprayed. Alot of variables here. Dont be so vague. I could tell you $500 and be in the ballpark, or I could Say $6000 and still be in the ballpark. Theres a huge variance.

 

I am asking how much people have spent not how much it will cost ..i know how much paint jobs go for just wondering how much money people with candy paint jobs have spent...

 

its about double the cost in materials since youre doing base,candy,clear. and a few more hours of labor. so if you know what a normal paintjob costs. add $500+ easily.

 

this thread was a total fail i was asking to see who has the most expensive paint job on here but i guess nobody got it now did they...i wasnt asking how much it cost .....

but you didnt ask that. therefore you are fail for not knowing how to ask a question. you should have asked something along the lines of "who here has the most expensive paint job?" or "who here has the most expensive candy paint job?" not "how much did your candy paint cost?"

 

i put a stripe of candy dwn the side of my ek coupe...with was about 4 inches wide in the middle that tappers dwn it cost me about 120 bucks or so

Im buying a 97 eclipse 2 door and a full body kit im wanting to paint it all candy blue except for the hood. Doing the job myself how much would you say that might be? Probably doesnt matter but the car was red. Ive heard itd be less than $500 up to atleast $1,700-$2,000 could u help shed some light lol
