Bump for rule #8
I vote for rule #8 in this thread
http://www.hondamarketplace.com/show....php?t=2380358
It just boggles my mind the level of abbreviations and chassis codes used as well.
Good Example
1992 Honda Civic DX Hatchback (Lebanon, Kansas)
Bad example
99 EK Hatch.5lug.JDM ITR Swap.Full CTR Interior Conversion. JDM MADNESS!!

I can see you're a captain cool guy. It's all about uniformity. Try searching for a 99 ek and see what you get. Why should I or anyone else have to sift thru 10 pages of ads to find a 1999 Civic hatchback.
Wrong forum? Hardly.

After receiving a report about this, I have to agree that the (old) rule is being blatantly ignored, and it is to the detriment of being able to find vehicles in your state.
The state must be listed in full, in the title of the thread.
It seems to be that pages and pages of threads are ineligible to remain open.

People should also consider posting their vehicles in the regional classifieds, which forums have relatively few rules.
It might be easier to attract a buyer in a forum we know is designed to attract people close by, and it enhances the chance of being able to meet the owner and see the car without too much trouble, the net result being greater satisfaction on both sides.

I can turn it off if you want.
The rule has been here forever. If we're going to have a general vehicles for sale forum, we need to be able to search for the state instead of having to read pages of irrelevant threads to find something.
Please don't argue and just put the state name in the thread title. :-)
