So the carpet in my eg is ****. Has anyone taken a 4Dr sedan EG carpet and used it in a eg hatch. A buddy of mine is parting out his 4dr and if it would work console holes and etc... im gonna get it and dye it. Now i know its gonna be long but cuting some length doesnt bother me. Or any other donners out there, gonna check some junk yards this weekend, will probably only find mildew....

 

I went to the junkyard and pickup a carpet from a coupe. And it didn't fit right. Front part was okay but the back was totally different. I am guessing that the 4 door will be even worst.

 

Will not work unless you cut and paste one or more sections together which would not look too nice IMO. Good luck!

 

uhh the coupe should fit and also the dc integera carpet but u can always heat it up and shape to fit!

 

thats kinda the response i was expecting, ive bought that premolded crap for other cars and its never been that great of quality, and i know i have seen someone on here take a blue ITR carpet and use it in a CRX, of course he had to do some cutting but turned out awesome....so was trying to weigh my options before i go to HONDA and spend some billz on the the OEM stuff, i guess do it right the first time....

 

i saw a picture of a hatch last night with no carpet or center console but red floor mats and it looked sick ill see if i can find it.

u can always shampoo it or power wash it. i just took [mine had holes] coupe carpet out and am going to power wash it this weekend along with 5th gen prelude seats which are going in the hatch!

gotta give you credit that is sick, looks bad ***, its just not me i have a gf and the first time she scratches the paint on the floor, an *** wopping has begun....See most women just dont have the respect we do for our rides... so thats outta the question.

also since ur carpet will be up i would be smarts to give the insides a nice cleaning. since all my panels are out i going to power wash it .... havent figured out how im going to get the water out but we will see.
