Ok, during a full throttle run, my car made some loud popping noise. I hit .5 bar and didn't even get a chance to look at the egt cuz i let go as soon as i heard the noise. I saw a cloud of smoke behind me but when i slowed down, there didn't seem to be anything wrong. No smoke coming from exhaust. No check engine light. No nothing. What gives???

 

what color was the smoke that came out? black=fuel, white=coolant, blue= oil.

couldn't tell, too dark....

 

check your plugs. or it could have been a backfire.

 

Did it make a poping noise WOT or after you lifted?

 

at WOT, then i let go...

 

So it makes the poping noise while you are flooring the car? It might be just backfire because your running to rich or there is a miss fire somewhere. Check to see what your plugs looks like.

 

What are your spark plugs gapped at... try .030"
