Default Glass Antennas

What antenna should I use if I want to mount one on the glass, either the sunroof or the rear window, of my 95 Integra LS 4-door? My power antenna is broken and ugly anyway, so I'm going to shave it and get an on-glass antenna. What is the best one? Well, to begin with, I was reading that you can't use on-glass antennas with solar-protective glass, or glass that has little bits of metal in it. Can I put an on-glass antenna on my car?

Thanks,
Ben

Default Re: Glass Antennas (mr_mbuna)

check with your local car audio shop and look into METRA products....model is
44UA20...pretty cool very small amplified antenna ( 1"x3" ) or use 44UA200...a lower profile type that sits behind rear view. Don't pay more than $30 bucks retail for either choice. Metra also makes a couple of cool Bee Sting types that look very good ( also about $30-$35 bucks)
