Maximum RWHP on GT-35r's?
Just courious what you guys have seen as the maximum RWHP numbers on the GT-35r's I know it is a very common turbo for the 4 and 6 cylinder guys. Would be interested in peak power numbers under 25 psi.

Hey the guys in the forced induction section would probably have a pretty good answer for you...I know I was surprised too. Don't feel bad though I drive a jeep and weld **** together for a living so I can't be that smart.
guy1: yeah i have a 42R on my 350z
guy2: daaamn thats so SICK! it must be a BEAST on the streets!! right?
guy1: yeah, its making 300whp on 2psi.. TORK MONZTER!!
guy2: .... *walks away*
2wd? what kind? FWD will obviously make more power to the wheels than a RWD car.
unless you got that new technology.. LSWD Left Side Wheel Drive.. talk about torque steer!
but seriously.. you have to be more specific with the question.. there are several different configs for that turbo.
the most streetable is the .82 rear housing which will net you somewhere near ~500-575whp and then theres the 1.06 which will take you to 600+whp but will be less streetable unless you have the motor to push it.

Just courious as we are at 1150 rwhp on a twin 35r configuration @ 19.5 psi. The compressors seem to be way out of steam and was courious what some of the honda guys might be experiencing although they really have no direct correlation.
here in town... there is a twin gt35'd ford gt making over 1300rwhp...

It’s just a temporary setup, the motor will be built down the road (pistons and rods) and the goal for the built motor will be around 5xx whp. In the meantime it’s a lot of fun as is, little lag, and trapping around 118 mph. Plus the VQ engines weak point is the rods so 400 whp is the safe limit.
Ive made 550-650 on several 35r subarus, and a few rsx's ect. The hondas made more with less boost due to the CR, The subies were running any where from 23-30psi
I made 720whp on a regular (non-billet) 35r, Tial .82 exhaust housing, long tube header.
FWD DSM with some fancy port work. Still poor flowing in comparison to a Honda.
33psi of boost falling to 31psi, engine was letting her eat.
