why do my brakes suck?
brake noobie here!
so i have small leak in my brake system and i know where it is. dont really know what its called but its not a brake line. its like on the bottom part of the caliper. its like a round bubble thing.
anyways, i dont know if that is contributing to my brake problem but my brakes lock up really easily. i was on the freeway and i had to apply a good amount of pressure on my brakes (i didnt slam on them) and i heard my tires lock up and screech. also, when im driving around it sounds like something is spinning around my right front wheel. like metal touching metal spinning. could it be my brake pads are bad or something?
what do you guys think is causing the spinning noise and my brakes locking up? thanks alot!

If you don't know what brake system parts are called, you should not consider messing with them. Take your car to a shop and have the brakes inspected/repaired by a professional. Learn about brakes at a time when you wont be risking the safety of yourself and others. And for god sakes if you know you have a leak in the brake system you should just park the car until its fixed.
sounds like the bleeder screw is leaking
get it fixed, you NEED brakes
if you don't even know the names of the parts I'm guessing you aren't much of a wrencher and you should take it to a shop that you trust to do the work for you
don't mess around with brakes, get it fixed right

It's sounds like your squealer tabs are on the rotor, you probably need new pads. If you have brake fluid leaking onto your pads, it can cause that pad to not be able to grab as hard as the other side and causing the other side to lock up.
