Default Sony Headunit into 92-95 civic

well search sucks, i tried and tried but could find anything.

basically i have a sony headunit i want to put into a 92-95 civic, unfortunatly the vehicle radio harness was cut so all i have is a bunch of wires, i went to installdr.com, followed their directions for a "typical" new radio harness and nothing, i know what the wires in the civic are for, but i do not know which wires go to what on the sony harness.

i'm not sure if its the car thats messed up or not, i am able to put in a CD and take it out, but the screen does not light up at all, and the typical warning shut off beeps aalso activate.

anyone have experience in this???

hmmmm which color was the power antenna? i saw that red with black stripe wire and was wondering what it connected to, and with the grounds, did you tie them together or did you have to find another ground behind the radio? imma try this out tomorrow and hope for the best, hardwiring is a bitch, but thanks for your reply, my head is about to explode over this

can you take a pick of how you got it spliced and the wires so i can see how you did it dont give up you know you can always lay your own wire and not use the stock harness rite
