I'm trying to decide on which short ram intake to purchase. My choices are the AEM/K&N/INJEN because they carry a C.A.R.B. EO#. I'm mainly concerned with the mounting fitment on my swapped 98 Civic EX which now has a B18C1 in it.
I cannot just use any intake because I live in CA and am in the process of getting my car BARD.

Also does anybody know if the EM1 airbox will bolt up to the B18C1 and utilize the stock mounting points of the D16Y8 airbox? They look very similar.

unless you're able to bend the tube, it won't fit with a stock gsr intake manifold.

 

I take it that you are talking about the EM1 airbox mated to the GSR throttle body.
