i have a 2003 v6 accord that i upgraded wit exhaust work and a cold air intake. I was thinkin about gettin a turbo or supercharger but it wuld have to be custom made and cost at least 7 grand. People are sayin i should get a nitrous kit but ive been told that it could blow my gasket. i was jus wonderin if anyone has some suggestions on wut to do, any brands to buy, or if i theres anythin else i can do to get more horsepower. thanks

 

Personally, I wouldn't go with nitrous unless you had an engine that could take it. In the long run, it would be a large build trying to ensure that a shot will not destroy the engine.

Yes, a shot can blow your gasket. Yes, you can possibly destroy your car. I know it sounds silly, but in Fast and the Furious, you can completely kill the engine and gaskets if you do too much.

You need to do your research on the systems, like what shot you want, wet or dry system, etc. I would personally go with a NOS system if you decided to go that route.

Personally, I think that a turbo would be a better bet that a nitrous oxide system. Safer, more fun, IMO, and there is a less chance of you killing your car with it. Even if it is much more expensive, I think I would sleep better knowing I won't blow my engine tomorrow morning on my way to work
