Hey everyone. I just finished building my first motor which is an ls vtec. I have been looking at dyno sheets but a lot of people don't say what they did to the motor.
I know they vary but was wondering if anyone knows maybe a general idea
I'll list everything I did, even if it really won't make a difference but the most important on top
B18A1 Block
B16A2 head with low miles
Brand new High Compression P30 pistons
New Piston rings
New Main and Rod Bearings, thrust washers
B16 Intake Manifold
B17 GSR Cams
B16 Transmission
Stage 3 Six Puck Clutch
ARP Rod Bolts
Shotpeened LS Rods
ARP Head Studs
I really want 200 whp but not sure if I'll be getting that or not.
Any predictions would be greatly appreciated!

There is no place for it here, it is not productive, frequently leads to arguments, and is generally pointless. Go find a dyno or a drag strip.

its actually really really easy to make 200+ whp from the lsvtec but most people will never be able to afford to do it. actually its not that hard to make 215-220........if you have money. its hard to justify putting 10k+ in an engine when the car is worth 3k or less.
if you dont have money for dyno tuning and engine management and good cams etc etc dont expect a whole lot.
its actually a lot cheaper to pay a professional like donf to build the entire motor for you and select all the parts than go through the trial and error of doing it yourself.
